I think this is a problem for everyone who is waiting for an interview in April: NVC received my packet in October, so I didn't include my husband's 2015* tax information yet, since it is not due until April 18th. I got CC on March 1st, no checklist, everything's ok. Let's say my interview is scheduled after April 18th, are the last 3 years of income enough or do I have to bring an updated version of I-864? Does anyone know if I can get a joint sponsor now, without going through NVC again and just bring the co-sponsor documentation to the interview?

I meant *2016 sorry

Just trying to be prepared in case they need more income proofs at the interview. We submitted tax returns of 2013-2014-2015. We are probably going to get an interview date anytime in April and Tax day is the 18th. I think that in 2016 my husband made just enough so I was thinking about maybe getting a co sponsor now just in case? Do you confirm too that we would just need to bring the required documentation to the interview without going through NVC again? That would really be a nightmare haha :D

basically I will suggest just follow the NVC P4 letter (interview letter)

if ur interview is scheduled after April 18th, it will have big chance they ask u to bring the 2016 tax info to interview

u still can prepare the co-sponsor info, but don't hand it to them unless they ask

that's my suggestion
