yes I believe that's the case... if you're married for 2 years or more at the issue of your visa..

When is the scan date? Is it once you have sent your package to nvc after send the visa application n paying the fees?

How is interview in UAE different than interview in Pakistan? 

Can someone plz help me. Very confused where we should hav our interview as I don't want to delay it n want to chose the fastest method without having any delays. 

Cutrently in upto the part where I hav to submit the visa application n then send out my package to nvc

I had to double check my email because I forgot... We got 3 NA's on Feb 3. Did not receive a CC email until Feb 10 (so 1 week later). I remember I had plenty of time to call NVC and confirm my suspicions before I got the official emails and interview date (surprise surprise). It took another week to get the P4 interview letter on Feb 17 (although its dated Feb 16). Obviously the amount of time you will have to wait for an interview letter varies quite a bit based on the country though.

no. it is when you sent the whole package and it arrived to their office and they scanned it, after sending the documents, do cal them after 5 working days to follow up if they received it and ask for the scanned date . +1 603 344 0700

So I just logged in and saw my 3rd N/A!!!  My husband called to confirm and the rep said that they had just started scheduling April interviews today. Hopefully I get an April date as well!

Case Complete:          03/06/2017 

Today also just happens to be my birthday. BEST BIRTHDAY PRESENT EVER!

To everyone still waiting, you guys will get your cc's soon now. Will be checking in here to share information that you guys will probably want to know in case there's anything unconventional about my next two processes (medical and interview) so you can prepare well ahead of time. Good luck to all of us!

You dont have a choice with interview location. If you are a UAE resident you must have it here.

 

UAE is usually simple too.  If your papers and you are clear you will be fine.

Your interview will be wherever you are a legal resident. I'm from New Zealand but was living in Australia when I filed. I'm now back in NZ and chose to change my embassy, but I was a legal resident of Australia and could have remained there for my consulate interview if I wanted to.
If your address where you live is UAE and you are a UAE resident/national then that's where your interview will be.
Most embassies schedule appts for a week every month from what I've read, I don't think it'll make a huge difference.
