I just want to share with you all that my husband attended his interview this morning at USEM Abu Dhabi, and he was approved. He was actually the first person to be interviewed for IV. If you were there this morning you probably saw a fine young man in blue suit. ??:D:jest:

Thank you everyone for your support and assistance through this journey. It's been a rough and painful one year but I'm glad it has come to an end. I'm hoping he joins me this weekend in the US. ? Thank you all!

Case completed Sept 15, 2016. Interview scheduled on February 3, 2017.

Interview date March 1, 2017

congrats

Register for Courier Service/Other Pre-Interview Instructions

Many U.S. Embassies and Consulates require visa applicants to pre-register for courier services. This service is for returning applicant passports and visas to them after the interview. Each consular section also has unique entry and security requirements, including whether applicants can bring cell phones into the embassy or consulate. Before your interview, read the specific requirements for where you will be interviewed. Select the city of the U.S. Embassy or Consulate from

Yes, this is very important.  Please see this link: https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/immigrate/immigrant-process/interview/prepare.html

Scroll down half way and you will see a drop down menu where you select the instructions for your embassy.  It should have the link for registering your interview online.  Once completed, please print the confirmation page and take it to the interview.  You will have to select how you would like your passport with visa (and sealed packet) returned to you via courier services, etc.  In my case, there was only one option :)  Please also ensure you follow the instructions in the PDF (in addition to those in the P4 letter) that you will download from the site above, as there are more specific to your embassy.  I hope this helps, and good luck!

Friends, who got interview appointment yesterday or even today? From what I see here many of us got appoiments last day of February but now silence here.

Does it mean NVC is done with April appointments and those who haven't got appointments yet should wait a month more? Does NVC schedule appointments  for 1-2 weeks for a particular embassy or they are pretty quick assigning all slots in 1-2 days?

Today my embassy replied that they've already provided April slots to the NVC (although no info when it was done, may be yesterday but may be 2-3 days ago) and I still have no appointment (just called NVC). So I wonder.... Does it mean my embassy is finished and no April slots for me or NVC doesn't process so fast and they are still assigning....

For March interview dates, they were still scheduling up to February 10 if I remember correctly.  Most of us (including me) got our interview dates early in February, but others received theirs over the next week or so.

Did you check the Ukraine portal and see what the timelines are from case complete to interview?  This would give you a good estimate.  There is also a spreadsheet on top of this thread where you can filter by visa type and country.

I can't figure how to find this. At Ukraine portal I see some stats but it only shows interview dates. I can't see case complete date on any timeline. I even can't add my CC date to the timeline. It seems the timeline and stats here do not allow to track CC date. And without it any statistic is totally useless at NVC stage.

May be I miss something?

P.S. Spreadsheet is also not very helpful, I see only several cases from Ukraine there and no recent ones

I've reviewed it but there is no column with Case Complete. So nothing to count from. Only dates of interviews but no CC date. So that's probably useless. This table focuses on USCIS dates only. Or I do not understand something.

I've gotten the info I need by clicking on each user's name (for those who had interview dates in the past 12 months) and looking at their timelines.

Thanks! It seems some timeline's are more detailed than others. Most timelines do not have CC date. Some last with CC date were getting Interview appointments several days after CC. But it's based on several cases only and no recent ones :(

It's a nightmare...
