No not yet, I'm planning on calling them at their late hours.. about 11:00pm EST. I hope you get some good news this week. :)

I called this morning.  I did ask if they started scheduling for May, they said they weren't yet, but April was all full.  I'm not sure how long it takes them to start scheduling for the following month.

Really?? <_< I don't think I'm even going to call them tonight then... Last week when I called the rep said to call the first week of April. So I suppose I will just wait and call next week then.

God Willing we'll get some good news soon. Thanks for the update. :)

God Willing it will not take long. AP is pretty much mandatory for the MENA region. I hope you hear some good news soon.

IA very hopeful that it will end soon and I can be with my family. My only worry is that last time when I applied for a visit visa the AP took 1 year. The visa was issued. It was 2013 and nothing has changed since then. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Just checked after reading this helpful thread that there was some update on the case today too. In Sha Allah.

Hi had my interview. Passport was returned with a 221g - administrative procession (AP). I know no one can tell how long it takes but just an approx.

221g is common but only if they keep passport with them.

If they have returned your passport then it will.take lot of time and there will be an interview again.

You went through the same? How long approx for you? I believe your were through ISL embassy. Yes they took all original police reports from me so I also think might be awhile.

Yes but they kept my passport and asked me to submit Confirmed Air Tickets. It took 20 days for getting visa.

During my interview they gave 221g to almost everyone but they only returned passports where a back ground check was required. And to be honest its bit long process.

One last thing to share is status Update DATE gets changef if you send them email or if some1 just click your case. Real update is only One which will happen with status changed from AP to Issued or AP to Ready in case of another interview.

Yes what you said makes a lot of sense. The only comforting thing or to make be little hopeful that It might be done soon is that my last check was completed in dec 2013. Nothing much has changed till then I.e location, job etc. I have been traveling to US while my case was in progress.

i agree with with the status update as well. It's just when you check in ceac site it shows updated for the same day.

Congratulations! Do they usually say st the end of the interview if it is approved? I heard they don't usually give a direct answer?
