Case complete March/07/2017.... still no interviewed scheduled. I found out that the Cairo US Embassy is not scheduling for April anymore... so looks like we will be scheduled for May most likely.

That sucks !! I am sorry. But, on the brighter side I am glad your case is complete. They will start scheduling May interviews soon and yours would be among the first InshAllah .

Hi! Haven't called since Friday, hate to wait 50 minutes so will call tomorrow early morning. As all here say April is finished thats probably true for my embassy too;( when they start May? Probably end of next week..

Yeah I feel you... about calling them. I too am planning on calling them early tomorrow as well (again-just can't help myself). 

 

Yes I believe if they don't begin scheduling this week for May, it most likely will be next week. ((Sigh)) But hey! We're almost there, and almost finished with all this. I hope for you some good news tomorrow.

What does it mean when your processing site changes from NVC to the embassy in my wife's country? We have yet to receive an invitation for an interview.

We are in supervisor review as of March 16. I have request an update via email and have not heard anything back. Thinking to follow up weekly.  Praying for a CC soon and May interview as well. Wow... . I didn't realize your PD was 04/05 . Mine was 03/29 . We both have been waiting for almost year. Are you in Egypt at the moment ? Will you accompany him to the interview ?  I don't know if I should or not... I am trying to see what everyone thinks

Did you attach your most recent Employment Verification latter?

Did you attach your 2 pay stubs?

If you had filed your 2016 tax return, did you attach your 1040 form along with your w2's?

 

Call them, and if you are making more than poverty level according to their guidelines, you do not need any joint sponsor. 

We need more details about what you have written in your i-864ez about your income in order to help me more in detail.

Yes I attached all that. I am making more than the poverty level, but I started working 07/2016, so that income level doesn't show in my 2016 tax, since I only worked less than half of the year.

According to their website, Employment latter and the most recent pay stubs should be well enough to prove that you are making more than enough to exceed poverty levels

first ask your husband what he had mentioned at the time of the interview about your work related stuff.

Second, read carefully what they have stated in in the latter about the required documents

Third Call NVC and tell them about how much you are making and you have been given this response by the embassy to submit or call the embassy.   

Lastly, Your last option, don't you know any one like family, friends, and relatives, who can support you as a joint sponsor.

Hopefully you will get CC so soon. It took 3 weeks after being placed on supervisor review for my CC. I hope yours is much faster.  

 

Yes I am in Egypt with my husband and  I do plan to go with him to his interview. I think that it's really important that you go with your husband to his interview if you are able to.
