Question about G325a form

So, I am stressing about this,  My wife is Chinese, and uses her Chinese name on all documents, paperwork etc.   But her and i use an English name, we failed to add that in the block

that asks for "other names used" .   on the G325a.   Our chats and correspondence back and forth for 8 months show her English name, actually tow different one.

My question is:  I have not yet filed the I130 packet,  I am ready to send it in now, she answered "none" for that block on the G325a that asks for other names used.

I can add this on my I 130, in that block that asks for her other names used.  What can I do, now that I have her original, signed G325a, that took three weeks to get from China?

what do you all recommend?  could I add a note to her G325a explaining this? or what>?   thanks

You don't need to do anything, the English name she uses is tantamount to nothing more than a screen name since she wouldn't use it in any official capacity.

If you feel the need to explain, then an evolution of relationship letter would be the place to do that.

I agree with Ryan H. The English name is basically a nicknames or screen name used for online communication. I believe the G325a is asking for other names used in an OFFICIAL capacity (i.e., school records, birth certificate, etc.); for example, if you wife had changed her name officially, you would put her previous name here.

If you are concerned about the use of a English name in chat records, I would recommend writing a small brief note stating that your wife uses this as her official screen name and then appending this note to your xeroxed chat logs. You could also take a screenshot of her profile page on whatever chat application you use showing her Chinese name alongside her chat/username. For example, my wife and I use Skype alot and our Skype screen names are obviously different than our official names. We included a screenshot of our Skype profile pages to help clarify this fact.

If she does not have her English name on any official document, It does not matter. I guess you can probably trace back the chats to an email ID which belong to her? Or her phone number.. if you would look up for example: whats-app chats the persons profile has their phone number listed below.

Hope it helps
