Hello guys,  hope all you had a great time. Well just share something about our issue on filling the k1 visa.  Last feb 8 2017 my fiancee submit our petition and its been 3 weeks now and still no text or even email from uscis. We found out that they did recieve the petition form but they didnt process because there are 3 more forms that my fiancee didnt noticed about it when he call the office this is what he found out said during the conversation:

My fiance:My check was made out to USCIS and it's suppose to be made out to department of homeland security ( which doesnt say that on the website )

And I didn't get a email from them because there is suppose to be another form I-797 , which is for email notification.

And there is a 3rd form that also needs to be filled out g-325a,

It was only suppose to be the I 129f form and all my documents.

Yes, that's the only reason .. the good thing is that they provide a receipt # which we can track at anytime to see updates.

The paperwork was never processed , she said all I need to do is submit them forms and the correct check and then they can process it.

I asked her why it doesn't say that on the website and she said that they reloaded the site on December 23rd and some form requirements maybe absent from the proper page (s)..lol

Well i hope this time after my fiance submit the 3 forms tommorow it could be succesful..

Thank you for reading and will be glad if you share something comments it helps..

It's in the instructions: https://www.uscis.gov/system/files_force/files/form/i-129finstr.pdf, page 6: "2. Make the check or money order payable to U.S. Department of Homeland Security")

Also: http://www.visajourney.com/content/paying-immigration-fees

I think you mean the G-1145 (https://www.uscis.gov/g-1145). Did you follow the guide here? http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1guide.

Yes, this form is required. One from the petitioner and one from the beneficiary. Each signed by the respective person.

Again, look at the I-129F instructions. Page 6, Item #8 "What Other Documents Do you Need?".

Check the checklist of items to submit using the VJ guide linked to above.

Correct.

This is pretty much a cop out by the customer service representative. The information is all there in the instructions.

Good luck!
