I never got a physical letter from USCIS to report that i was "in line" I did get an email though, which was dated. April 6th...

Application Type: N400, APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION 

Your Case Status: Testing and Interview 

On April 6, 2017, we started the interview scheduling process for your Form N400, APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION, Receipt Number NBC*xxxxxxxxx. We will send you an interview notice. Please follow any instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address. 

If your case status indicates that you are currently in this step, you have either been scheduled for an interview or are in line to be scheduled for an interview. The amount of time your application will remain in this step will vary by office and is largely determined by the number of cases ahead of yours. The interview notice will have specifics about time, location and anything you will need to bring to your interview. If your application remains pending beyond our normal processing times (as shown below) please contact our national customer service center at 1-800-375-5283. Please note that not every application/applicant will require an interview. In some instances, an interview is required by regulation and others an interview is requested because USCIS has determined that this is the most efficient means to determine eligibility. For a naturalization application the interview will include your taking the required English and/or Civics tests (unless exempt or waived). 
 

  • Log-in to your myUSCIS account to view your case history and understand what you can expect to happen next on your case.
  • Current processing times can be found on the USCIS website at under Check Processing Times.

I then had another "case status" update  on April 11th so logged into "myuscis" web portal to find that it looked like i was scheduled for interview.

 

I can update my timeline to reflect that April 6th was my "in line" notice.

Int Ltr: Date you received the official letter in the mail regarding interview.
Interview: Date of your interview.
Oath: Date Oath taken.

Field Office: Your local USCIS office where you will have the N-400 interview.

The date is set i am excited and nervous at the same time. :D

Thank you Joe ! hoping that you get your notice very soon too. Honestly I was not expecting it to be so quick.

yes my second was on April 11th so went into my uscis web site and it said i was sheduled for interview. its in the thread i posted in the group at the time.

Congrats Gary! .... Indianapolis site is moving fast because my Mom lives there and it too her 2 months to get her citizenship too. Good luck on your interview.
