I guess you filed from outside USA?

We are residing in Dallas, Texas. We just decided to include 2 photos in any case they are needed.  I saw that on the current docs checklist that photos are not needed if filing in the US.

But i have also read from a different thread that during the interview the officer was looking for the photos even thought the N400 was submitted January 2017.

yes , since arriving last December 2011 on a family based petition F2A category.

That is why the 3 year rule does not apply in her case. 

Needs to be 5 yrs residency rule.

We may have read same thread. I for once didn't include photos on my application but certainly going to bring on my interview.

You may also want to send Bank Statements and/or utility bills. I don't think you need to send Drivers License for any reason.

Since your wife has had her GC for 5 years , all she has to prove is continuous residence eligibility, similar to my case - I sent :

  • N400 (application form)
  • Form G-1145 (e-notification form)
  • Check for $725
  • Photocopy of green card (front and back)
  • Photocopy of drivers license ( this I could have brought in at the interview)
  • Proof all earlier marriages ended - divorce decree - mandatory for both 3yr and 5yr if applicable
  • Marriage certification for my current marriage ( this I could have brought in at the interview)

Will bring tax transcripts to the interview along with the passport photos.

  • cheque is cashed on 06/11/2007
  • NOA1 in mail 06/13/2007 (who said 13 is badluck )
  • 07/30/2007 After no touches and no other signs we just got an email with the APPROVAL of I130....Thank God !....now what ?

  • 08/07/2007 Case received by NVC and case number assigned :))

  • 08/13/2007 DS3032 and AOS bill were generated

  • 08/14/2007 Emailed choice of agent ...i'm so curious when they will accept it...hopefully soon

  • 08/21/2007 DS3032 and AOS fee bill arive in mail

  • 08/27/2007 paid AOS fee bill
  • 8/28/2007 DS3032 choice of agent accepted
  • 9/3/2007 IV fee bill generated
