After a long wait, they denied my application and told me I can appeal with in 30 days. Now I have only 20 days to send my appeal and still could not decide. I consulted 3 attorneys and all of them told me three different things on when I will be able to reapply. One of them told me that, it will be better to file again than trying to appeal it and pay about $3500, which in most cases may not be successful. Can you anyone please give me some advice on the pros and cons of appeal vs reapplying? Thank you.

It is true that the answer 100% depends on the reason of denial. Some denials might involve things that "age out" i.e. if you reapply many years later then something you did more than 5 years ago does not matter, but there are things that will result in almost always the same result, that is, denial. Probably the most benign reason of potential denial is failure in maintaining residency in the US, which can be circumvented only be reapplying later, when you meet the criteria.

Sorry to hear about the denial. Did they give you a reason for denial?

USCIS has changed today the processing time page and changed the processing time into a stretched range instead of a date to limit the inquiries and the complains.

This is just crazy. The annoying part is that after 14months they'll  still make excuses
