Yes that could be an issue, but I've read that a one - day passport is possible with proof of travel through a regional passport agency office so I don't think obtaining a passport would hold us up. For family reasons it is very important that we hear something before we travel; however, I don't think that will happen at this point.

Can you get a passport same day as oath if you have travel plans?

Yes! You just need to make an appointment for the passport and have your travel documents already, they will get it done same day or next business day.

Yes, but make sure that
1. you live close enough to a passport agency

2. you need to make an appointment ahead of time. Some agencies may accept walk-ins but it's not guaranteed and there may be a very long wait.

3. You will need proof of travel, such as a plane ticket.

I just checked the processing timeline for Baltimore field office and it seems like they went back to December 2016. a few days ago they were processing February 2017. How is this possible ?

I thought I was getting closer to getting an interview date but this is really concerning.

Any Ideas ?

Don't worry about their processing timeline, I'm a NYC filer and according to them they are processing April 16 2017 and I filed in early June 2017 and got my interview for February 27

guys, paint me RED  .

Had oath ceremony at  local  USCIS office this morning, registered to Vote and applying passport tomorrow.

This forum has supported me from day 1 of my journey and I can't imagine going through the whole process without support from members.Checking VJ has become part of my daily routine  :)

 

Good luck to everyone who is still waiting, you guys will get good news soon.
