New I-130 forms

So I just mailed my I-130 form and saw on USCIS that the forms have been updated as of 2/27/17. The sites does say they will only accept the new versions after 4/28/17.

Just for clarification, I should still be fine with the previous version? I noticed they got rid of the G-325A forms and have it combined now into the I-130. Also a separate form just for the beneficiary (spouse). Also it looks like 2 passport photos each of the beneficiary and petitioner?

kbmoon - interesting! If they say that the new version is not required until 4/28/17 - you are probably ok. You could always call the USCIS customer service number and ask just to be sure.

HI,

According to USCIS website they it is well and good if you submit the newer version of I-130. but incase of you or somebody else have already filled out the the older version of I 130 that is okay up to 4/28/17. After the mentioned date they won't accept the older version of I 130.

Regards,
