aos VERY WORRIED ABOUT GOING TO AOS INTERVIEW ALONE!!!!!!!!

Hello everyone I'm very nervous I got a letter from my lawyer from uscis that I have to come for an interview for removing conditions on my green card I I'm divorced I went through a lot with my

 husband who treated me like garbage I want to know if any body has gone to such an interview before and what questions that normally ask I sent in a lot of evidence to prove our marriage was bonafide before things fell apart and he mostly verbally and at times physically abused me I'm very nervous and don't know what to do pls pls can I get advise and what I'm going to expect when I get to the interview?

Assuming you filed with a divorce waiver and can demonstrate a bona fide marriage prior to the divorce then you shouldn't have any major issues.

Be honest and describe everything how your marriage fell apart backing up with your documents. Take any other new documents (if you have) that you did not sent while filing I-751.

Dw, you should be fine. I see lot of people with waivers getting approval despite every case is different.

Yes I did i was divorced before I applied for it

Ugh that's terrible, I am so sorry you have to go through that and now doing the AOS on your own. But with all the evidence you have nothing to worry about, and soon you will be able to resume your life and get over this hard moment. I wish you all the best and you have my support!

We had an interview for our ROC, but not sure if the questions are going to be same since our situation is different than yours (we filed jointly).

Also the letter that uscis sent me was abit odd it didn't have a reciept number just A number it said

"Please come to the office shown below at the time and place indicated in connection with an official matter. Bring this notice,two recent color passport photos, government issue photo ID and alien resident card( Incase of jiont filing, the petitioner must be present at interview with photo identification) your interview may be recorded on video tape.

FAIL FOR YOUR INTERVIEW MAY RESULT IN DENAIL OF YOUR APPLICATION AND TERMINATION OF STATUS!(

Better than the first.

 

USCIS mishandled my case and sent it around the country to the wrong office--twice.

 

I had to get in touch with the DHS Ombudsman to get it sorted out, and it took about six months to fix it.
