O'Reilly lost his cool coz talking to Geraldo about immigration is like talking to a wall. Geraldo's so Pro-illegal it's pathetic. Go figure he's a latino?? hmmmm?

Bill should have made the point that if the would enforce the laws and secure the borders those girls would still be alive!!!!!!!! Yes it's bad enough that we have to deal with citizens and legal residents drunk driving, why add to the problem by looking the other way when it comes to illegal's. That makes no sense. How many people have to DIE needlessly? If those we're my daughters. Well, ever see The Punisher?? The Govt and Courts have FAILED us.

More Americans have been killed by drunk driving illegals then 9-11!!

I don't need someone to cut my grass!! Secure the damm border already!

so, would you turn in to the Punisher is an american citizen killed your family and the "courts failed you"? or do, you just want to terminate the illegals

I've not read the comic, but the recent movie version of The Punisher was terrible. Just before the big finale the guy goes off on a big monologue about how he is not out for revenge, and then goes onto describe what sounds exactly like revenge. I'm sure Frank Castle would get really far in court with that defence

As for the Geraldo / O'Reilly debate...O'Reily was dead on and Geraldo's points don't hold water. Enforcing immigration law is not tantamount to the Gestapo. Illegal aliens that pass through the jails and courts should be detained for deportation and assessed the 3 year or 10 year ban on legal reentry as prescribed under current law.

I agree with that part - just not the idea that illegality in itself was the reason for the death of those kids. The guy was drunk & illegal, but it was the drunkeness that caused the deaths, not the illegality.

I think in that regard, O'Reilly is making a little more of the issue than there is for political purposes - drunk driving (in general) is a major problem, as is illegal immigration but I'm not sure you can connect the two.

The dots connect because there are a significant amount of preventable crimes committed by illegal aliens. If the illegal alien is not present to commit the crime here...then that is one less crime committed in American communities. These girls and many other crime victims would still be alive if these illegal alien criminals were stopped at the border and/or deported after their first arrest. Some of these a$$holes have been arrested multiple times and should have been deported long ago instead of repeatedly released back into our communities as if they belong here.

Why is it that some cities put up barriers such as sanctuary policies against determining the immigration status of criminals going through the justice system? The people doing it are misguided bleeding hearts like Geraldo whose bleeding heart is misplaced on illegal alien criminals. These enablers just enable more preventable deaths and crimes in our communities.

Screw Geraldo and his enabling ilk!

"Credibility in immigration policy can be summed up in one sentence: Those who should get in, get in; those who should be kept out, are kept out; and those who should not be here will be required to leave."

"...for the system to be credible, people actually have to be deported at the end of the process."

The 24-year-old man suspected of causing the accident that killed film director Bob Clark and his son had a bloodalcohol level three times the legal limit, authorities said Thursday.

Hector Manuel Velazquez-Nava, a native of Mexico who federal authorities said was in the U.S. illegally, faces possible charges of vehicular manslaughter, driving without a license and driving under the influence of alcohol

Seems a weekly occurrence in Colorado. I could probably pull up half a dozen examples.

PS Geraldo is half Jewish.

OMG, all through that movie D. and I were looking at one another going: So... Where's the punishin'? o.o

And then we got a full 10 minutes of him actually doing his thing. Whoopdeedoo. Let's hope the second one is better.

Anyhow, off topic.

And on topic: potato, potahto.

Geraldo has the typical pro-illegal stance..... "what's next? shooting illegal aliens on the border?". He's an idiot.

What's wrong with wanting to secure our borders? It's not racist.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Iniibig ko si Luz forever,

I dislike Geraldo more than I dislike O'Reilly, but in this particular debate I have to side with Geraldo.

Yodrak

I just watched it again and I agree. Based on that footage, its a fairly good example of the O'Reilly's fabled no-spin spin zone. O'Reilly seemed rather hysterical to me.

WOW O'Rilley looked like his head was about to explode. He did not argue his point effectively. He just looked like a xenophobe who is scared that the brown people are taking over. I agree with Geraldo they should not take a drunk driving case and turn it into an immirgration issue. I know this white guy who has like 3 DWI's in less than a year..still has his license and everything ummm can we send him somewhere?? :help:

Immigration is a FEDERAL issue local police have no choice but to let them go it is the law. In order for them to be deport them laws and guidelines have to be in place and it takes for though and some sense of reason. Screaming like your pannies is on fire is not gonna get it done.
