I was watching it last night. Never seen either one of them like that..........especially O'Reilly. No matter who he's had on, he always seems to keep his cool for the most part.

It was pretty interesting, but......still......................I can't help but think, that being they both have TV shows on FOX...............that there wasn't just a wee bit of "contrivance" going on, in an attempt to make for good TV. ;)

Seemed a bit much...........

O`Rilley has always been very strong against illegal aliens and Rivera is known to be pro-illegal. It seemed genuine.

WOWZERS! I don't think O'REiley is that good of an actor. he was steamed! Oh well afterwards, they were probably shaking hands and joking about at least the ratings will get a boost.

PS Geraldo wins- only because he kept his cool a little better.

I agree that it seemed (to me) slightly contrived, though it’s debatable whether they were consciously “hamming it up” or just naturally playing up for the cameras.

That said, the story they were discussing is a typical outrage story that those sorts of commentators generally prey upon – and politicize for their own purposes. Though it must be said, O’Reilly didn’t win me over with his argument.

That was an arguement? I thought that was him just screaming things over and over! :P

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

It (Geraldo & O'Reilly) was pretty hilarious. But not as hilarious as the time Geraldo got hit in the face with a flying chair on his old TV talk show during a melee between skinheads and civil righters. Another classic was the time Geraldo threw a punch at a KKKer on camera, took a royal beating, and was arrested by police afterward because he threw the first punch. Geraldo can be a sanctimonious media ####### when he thinks he can get mileage from it. O'Reilly isn't nearly as bad in that department.

As for the Geraldo / O'Reilly debate...O'Reily was dead on and Geraldo's points don't hold water. Enforcing immigration law is not tantamount to the Gestapo. Illegal aliens that pass through the jails and courts should be detained for deportation and assessed the 3 year or 10 year ban on legal reentry as prescribed under current law.

"Credibility in immigration policy can be summed up in one sentence: Those who should get in, get in; those who should be kept out, are kept out; and those who should not be here will be required to leave."

"...for the system to be credible, people actually have to be deported at the end of the process."

Testimony to the House Immigration Subcommittee, February 24, 1995

I agree with that part - just not the idea that illegality in itself was the reason for the death of those kids. The guy was drunk & illegal, but it was the drunkeness that caused the deaths, not the illegality.

I think in that regard, O'Reilly is making a little more of the issue than there is for political purposes - drunk driving (in general) is a major problem, as is illegal immigration but I'm not sure you can connect the two.

I do not think it was a set up, O'Reilly lost it but he had the moral high ground.

And he is a big boy, 6' 4"?

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

O'Reilly lost his cool coz talking to Geraldo about immigration is like talking to a wall. Geraldo's so Pro-illegal it's pathetic. Go figure he's a latino?? hmmmm?

Bill should have made the point that if the would enforce the laws and secure the borders those girls would still be alive!!!!!!!! Yes it's bad enough that we have to deal with citizens and legal residents drunk driving, why add to the problem by looking the other way when it comes to illegal's. That makes no sense. How many people have to DIE needlessly? If those we're my daughters. Well, ever see The Punisher?? The Govt and Courts have FAILED us.

More Americans have been killed by drunk driving illegals then 9-11!!

I don't need someone to cut my grass!! Secure the damm border already!

Gonna try again.
