Hi @Track13 my fiance has his appointment and physical next month. Can you please let me know what the medical exam consist of ? Like do they do a full medical exam ? Eye test ? Blood tests ? for the drug exam do they do urine or blood ? Also, do they give the vaccines and results that same day ? He has his interview exam two days after the medical exam.

How long did it take for you to get the actual visa after approved ?

You can read others' reviews for the medical and interview here: http://www.visajourney.com/reviews/index.php?cnty=Mexico&cty=&dfilter=5 . There are tons of reviews, and while not everyone mentions the medical or wait times, you're sure to find many that do.

Vaccines are given that same day. The results are typically ready the same day, though I have read about others experiencing delays, but those cases seem to be rare. The exams are typically done earlier in the day, starting at 6 am and results are ready for pickup around 3pm.

As far as how long to get the visa, the official estimate from the embassy is 10 business days. From what I've seen, including our own case, the most common wait time is 5 business days. If you opt to pick up the visa in Juarez instead of having it mailed somewhere else in Mexico, then you'll probably save 1 business day. Keep in mind that these are only estimates and delays are possible. Some people are told they're approved at the interview but then later are placed into AP (administrative processing). AP sometimes takes a couple of days, but can sometimes take a few weeks. If you do a search on here you'll find a few threads where applicants have had to wait close to a month for their visa to be delivered.
