Hello,

I have very unique case and I need to find someone who had similar case as me. I am a 46 years old US Citizen I was originally born in Brazil and I have half brother that I want to bring to the US to live with me,however when I was born our biological mother abandoned me and I was adopted  at 5 months of age. The problem is my biological mother never recognized me as her child and she have already passed away few months ago.

My half brother who I been in contact for few years and I love very much don't have any prove of relationship on documents. Is that possible to request a DNA of relationship to do Petition? He is my only biological sibling, and I really want him to be near me.

Thank's in advance :)

If you were adopted officially then you are no longer legally related.  IF you were raised by another family without being adopted then you still are considered related  (  unless your half sibling was adopted by the same people )

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.
