Filing AoS from K1 - General questions, I-864 Affidavit and AoS cover letter

I didn't attach it to the I-485.  It was received just fine.  It is a separate form and so I sent it in as such with its own documentation.

 

I got this cover letter from a VJ member's thread using the search tool.  It's just preference, what matters is that it is all there.

Cover letters can be done in SO many ways nothing is right or wrong. 

It's not a required part but 90% of people do it to give an overview of what they send.

 

Op the G-325A as stated is not needed for the sponsor and the I-864 does not have to be attached to anything. Just make sure everything is there.

I don't think any one persons way is correct, as you said - I simply asked because, after going through a number of cover letters here on VJ (all differing in many ways), I compiled my own based off what a majority had, and asked about the one thing I was unsure about!

Thank you.  I was trying to give you a sample of another option for cover letters.

Just make sure you use the adobe reader to download and complete your I-864.  That was my only error  .   Learn something new everyday!

I had the same issue when filling out a few forms, with some text boxes not letting me type in them - I think I fixed it though, so everything has been typed in.

and it's all fine. Make sure to just have the check on top and after that the G-1145 and then your cover letter

What history?  Plenty of VJers have gotten RFE/RFIEs.  That does not speak to their credibility.  Ebunoluwa has read my posts and comments for years.  She most definitely can speak on my credibility.

To OP: if you had a name change, please consider also sending a copy of your marriage certificate with the AP and EAD applications. It's not a requirement but just to be on the safe side in case your IDs are still in your maiden name.

Thank you! I just made copies of it to attach to the AP and EAD.
