- Does my husband (USC) also need to fill out a G-325A for the I-485?

And.. lastly..

Would someone mind going over the checklist portion of my cover page and letting me know if I've forgotten anything/need to remove anything/any suggestions:

Our checklist looks about the same overall as yours. We just added in couple things like showing our joint savings account and lease for our apartment. We followed the guide outline as shown here on VJ. Our packet was just signed for at Chicago Lockbox.

No the USC does not have to supply a G-325 in the packet, just the K-1 holder.

We also just used this guide : http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1k3aos  and organized everything inside the packet as it is shown on the list here. Right behind the I-864 I supplied the three years tax transcripts(also included the W2's) and he 6 most recent pay stubs (Dec 15 - current). Your's might have additional things if you are using assets or co-sponsor though.

Awesome, thank you!

And I had just listed 'evidence' as I'm waiting on my husband to actually fill out the form and print everything out, so I can list it all in the contents. Would it be fine to not include a letter of employment, as well?

I think a lot would advise to definately add this in the packet. I did not get a chance to get an updated copy from my HR; but I have been working for same company for just about 6 years now and well over required income so I did not stress it too much myself; but if you can get one definately add it in.

It's more a nuisance to get ahold of in my husbands case, than it is impossible to do, so I will definitely get ahold of one before we file.

Thanks so much for the help :)

And you had no need for a G-325A from the sponsor for the Affidavit of support? Someone above said it was required, so I'd just like to know what you did (seems people do a variety of things, so it's hard to figure out what's necessary and what isn't)

And you had no need for a G-325A from the sponsor for the Affidavit of support? Someone above said it was required, so I'd just like to know what you did (seems people do a variety of things, so it's hard to figure out what's necessary and what isn't)

That is correct.  It is not required for the sponsor.

I did get an RFIE for household size, as I hand wrote it in the first time. They did not ask for anything related to the G325A for sponsor.

Correction. First it is the I130, but I keep forgetting not everyone files for that in their adjustment process. But yeah the 864 should be as part of the 485 package not as its own application.
