Hello  everyone

Just wanna say thanks so far. this site has been amazing and so very helpful.

I booked my interview for 230 pm march 29 in Montreal.  Ive noticed everyone else interview in the forums are in the morning and  its a first come first serve and not appointment based.

The later time works better for me for traveling.

Wondering if the later date will be a problem? and how early  should  I show up?

Appreciate the help

Congrats on getting your appointment booked!

When I went two weeks ago, it was most definitely not first come, first served. My appointment was 10:30am. I showed up at 10 and they turned us away and said to come back at 10:15am. So my thoughts to you would be to try to enter at 2, but expect to be turned away. There's a Starbucks literally across the street where you can wait.

@TheSmiths

Hello! Just found this forum and wanted to ask....

Once you turned in AOS and IV packages to NVC, what were your options on interview dates? I am wondering approximately how many months Montreal is quoting for interview date?

Thank you!

The OP is a K1 and not the same VISA type as you, they had a choice to select their own interview date while I believe IR1/CR1 receive an interview date/time. You may want to look at a few recent Canadian VJer's timelines who are the same type to get an idea.
