I 129f and G325A Details

I am new here and I just started the K1 Process. I am a USC and my fiancee and I have just completed these forms and are almost ready to submit.

I would like to know how important the detail of completing this information is. It is very difficult to recall exact dates of when I moved into my last residence. I can remember when I moved to my current residence. It was 6 years ago when I moved into my last residence but the detail of which month escapes me. Also two of my fiancee's 5 jobs in the past 5 years were for short periods of time (one for 2 weeks, one for one day). She doesn't recall the exact dates.

Do you suggest that she just leave those 2 jobs off the forms? Also if my prior address goes past five years is it acceptable to just put 5 years from now or just guess the approximate date? I have exhausted all of my resources to find this info.

Any input with these types of experiences would be greatly appreciated.

You have a while yet. The G-325 doesn't need to be filed until after the NOA2. As far as the dates of employment all I can say is; make sure the last five years are all accounted for. As far as the two week job and the one day job, well, again just make sure all time is covered; one day jobs, personally I wouldn't put down on the form. Sorrry to be so vague. Remember, I don't really think anyone goes back to check employment history of the SO, but I could be wrong. Maybe other people here will know more. Also, again the G-325 doesn't need to be filed with the petition. I hope I was some help.

WHAT!?!?!?! No, no, no. The G-325 is filed WITH the I-129F. All 4 copies with original signatures need to be sent in for both the beneficiary and petitioner. Your submission should be as accurate as humanly possible.

Reach449, if you did not send yours in, expect to receive an RFE.

Sorry to interject here. But if you're referring to form G-325A, it must be submitted with the I-129F Petition for Alien Fiance(e). They do need to be completed by both the petitioner and beneficiary. Please refer to the GUIDE section on filing for a K-1 Visa. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...mp;page=k1guide

This information is incorrect. G-325a is indeed filed as part of your I-129F petition package sent in together - not after a NOA2.

GOOD GRIEF~!

I am so sorry! I didn't get enough sleep today! Yes, everyone is right except ME! The 325 is supposed to be filed with the petition. I was thinking of the other forms after NOA2. I apolgize to everyone on the board and especially to you. It is good that there are many people here to catch my mistakes. Sorry again. :(

ejaye,

Be as accurate as you can be for any information that you provide, dates and other information. But if all you can remember is the year for a date then provide only the year. If you can't remember anything at all then answer 'unknown', of 'don't remember' as space allows. Such answer is acceptable if it is accurate, unaceptable if it is a dodge to avoid providing information that you do know.

I don't know if that's the correct thing to do, but I choose to put only my jobs that lasted at least a week and of which I could remember the address. I've been a student for most of those years, so I think it makes sense anyway, for the rest I put unemployed. I was registered as so in France because the jobs I had were not long enough to change my status.

Andre's dad died a few years ago. They didn't know the exact date or his date of birth. We put unknown. It didn't cause any problems or delay anything.

You have a while yet. The G-325 doesn't need to be filed until after the NOA2. As far as the dates of employment all I can say is; make sure the last five years are all accounted for. WHAT!?!?!?! No, no, no. The G-325 is filed WITH the I-129F. All 4 copies with original signatures need to be sent in for both the beneficiary and petitioner. Your submission should be as accurate as humanly possible.

Reach449, if you did not send yours in, expect to receive an RFE.

I may have a problem. My fiance's middle name was spelled Anatolievna on th 129 F but spelled Anatolyevna on all other documents including her translated birth certificate. I did not catch this before I sent it out. Both spellings are correct but will this propose a problem. What do I do?????

I say just do your best, it is highly unlikely that the USCIS will expend the effort required to verify this information anyways .. I would include your fiancee's jobs but make an educated guess as to the dates of her employment

You can't do anything at this point. If USCIS sees it as a problem, they will sned an RFE, but I wouldn't stress out about it. She can confirm the spelling during her interview.
