Time from NVC Complete to Interview in Pakistan

Hi all...Just wanted to update you guys. We filed a year ago at the end of January and got to NVC, where we got an RFE for a different/additional divorce document  that we had sent in. (Need to add, another couple used the computerized version (which is what we sent) and sailed through without the additional document they requested from my hubby.) It took 4 months to get that document, so finally our papers went to NVC. Then we forgot to send in an additional police record from another country he had lived in. So after all that, it ended up being Jan. 26 of this year for "receiving documents." They told us that our time would start over again on that date, since they received the police report on Jan. 26. My senator's office has been with us all the way on this, so I highly recommend getting them involved. They have been wonderful! When the senator's office called again this week, they were told our papers had to start over on Jan. 26, and it would be approximately/at least 8 more weeks for them to be processed. So sad, as we had been trying to get married for 2 years before we actually got married in 2015. We have now known each other more than 6 years, and we are an older couple, so it's so depressing to see so much time passing that is lost.

 

Anyway, can anyone tell me how long it takes for them (Islamabad) to receive the papers and schedule an interview?That would be time approved until interview, please.  It seems to be running awfully slow.
