My fiancé and I currently live in Sweden but I am a US citizen and we want to move to the US  and she is a Swedish citizen. I need advice so that I don't do anything wrong because it feels really complicated.

Do you work in Sweden or do you earn a US based income? They do not consider overseas earnings, they will want to see proof of income from the USA. If not, you will need to find a co-sponsor, even if just for on paper for the application process.

I have worked over in the US but only for one summer .... does it matter that I own an apartment here and lots of stuff so I will have a pretty good amount of money win I move? I have my mother and brother there so I could put one of them as co provider.

Please be careful on domicile issues in addition to what was mentioned above. Like you I also live overseas but will move back before her interview to establish domicile. Several others do something similar.

I don't understand what you mean?

You must have a place to live here in USA when your fiancé interviews (established domicile).  Otherwise, where will she tell the IO where she's going to live?

It's a requirement for the K1 visa for the USC to have domicile. Suggested ways to prove domicile include but not limited to:

1) USA House Lease or Mortgage on Home

2) US Bank Account

3) Utility Bills with Your usa address and in your name

4) Credit Card Statements with your usa address listed

5) USA valid driver license

These are used to prove you are in USA or have intent to be there. They are concerned you marry and then leave your fiance. Again why many of us move back to USA BEFORE fiance interview. You can search Visa Journey to see many examples of domicile issues and recommendations. Good luxk

Ok I have a bank account, drivers license,

can I have my mother list as a provider does that make it easier?

Is it easier if she takes a tourist visa and we get married while she is there ?
