I would like to find some friends who are in the same boat...I'm in a few boats. Here they are:

Anybody who is

1. dealing with the beloved, yet overworked, CSC...

2. Anyone with a Peruvian love who wants you to speed up time...

3. Are there any Latter-day Saints (Mormons) on here? Would like to talk Temple policy (if you are LDS you know what the whole temple thing is about) And

4. People who have filed in Feb...it would be nice to keep in touch to watch the progress.

Any & Mike

Reply to #2: I met my Peruvian fiance three years ago on a vacation to Peru. Our I-129F was approved within 8 weeks of filing, and an interview with the embassy was set 4 months after I filed the I-129F. The interview went well. The difficulty we've run into is getting an appointment for a medical exam. So we're having to refile the I-129F and will have to be very persistent on securing a medical appointment.

Looks like you've received the response letter indicating your I-129F application was received. Hope you hear of the approval soon. Be sure your fiance calls for the medical appointment as soon as you receive the interview appointment date. Please let me know if you find out any of the ins and outs of securing a medical appointment in Lima.

I am dealing with CSC, just filed my paperwork in February. I am also LDS, so what do you want to know, my fiance is not. He is Muslim, which is new to me, I am not converting, I believe in the LDS church, so I am sure you are wondering if this will work. I respect his beliefs and he does mine and we love each other.

Well, I guess I just wanted to find people I have things in common with on this. I kinda feel the forums can get random. Especially, when I am looking for something specific. With LDS folks it is more what they are doing for the wedding and that sort of thing, which may not be too appropriate for this forum, but I figure this is a good place to get started.

I am sort of like you. I have met my girlfriend on line and feel like prefacing every conversation with an explaining to people whether "this" is going to workout. But, I've only been sure of one other thing in my life like this so...I guess people can think.

Sound lie you have a good relationship.

I spoke with my fiancee. She has a friend from Lima who went through the process. She said she went to a female doctor in San Isidro in a clinic. She said it was easy to get in. A week or so.

Thank you. That's good to know. We just resubmitted the I-129F, so hopefully we are on our way...
