I'm just starting this for my wife and it's strange where I live and where I get mail.

I work as a private contractor for actually the embassy construction side of Dept. of State and sometimes the US Army Corps. I technically live in Cambodia on a business visa I get renewed every year but always list my residence as my parents house in Florida. For instance the I-130 has the address which I'd put as my parents house but they ask "last address at which you lived together."

I feel if I put the Cambodian address but list my address for the past 5 years in the USA the application could be denied. Anyone have experience with this? Or should I go only with the Cambodian address.

I lived in Costa Rica for the last two/three years before the application period. I put that as my last address when it told me to list the last addresses in the past five years. If you already put something different and sent it in, go ahead and put the correct Cambodian address now. If they have a question, it will be raised in the interview, and you can explain then.

Yeah, I mean, you are renewing your visa for Cambodia, so there's no reason you shouldn't put anything. You should have a mailing address in the US though, because that is where they will send the notices.

If you legally reside in the country you are living in, put that address.  People apply from abroad all the time.  It has, historically speaking, helped at the I-130 stage.

If you are really worried about mail service you can put your US address that your mail is checked at.
