NOA1 September 20, 2016 for my wife's I-130 petition for me on September 6.

 

Waiting...waiting...waiting...

 

At least we're together. 

 

Only problem is, she's making plans to move to Orlando in April to take her transfer (and comply with her domicile at the same time). In fact, we're heading down there next week to look for a house to rent. I sure hope we get things done by May or June at the latest. I'm going to miss her while we're apart. On the up-side, I've booked most of May and June off of work so I suppose we can be re-united for that time.

It will take about a year from the date you filed until they receive their visas. 

 

May or June isn't going to happen.

I filed for my step daughter, PD is 8/24/2016 (I am a US citizen). Yesterday (3/10/17) I received email stating "name was updated". No idea what that is about since we did not request a name change. It looks like again today 3/11/17 there was activity on our case but the message of "name was updated" has not changed. This is based on yesterday it had 3/10/17 as the last time the case was "touched" and then when I checked today the date was 3/11/17 as the last date the case was "touched". This is the most nerve wrecking experience. I really wish I knew what "name was updated" meant. Our case is with the Nebraska Service Center. Good luck to everyone...

Not yet. NOA1 is Oct 4 from Nebraska. Transferred to Texas Service Center on Feb 22. No news yet.
