Hi all again.

I've been looking over our copy of our ROC packet. We just sent in the original yesterday. I've noticed in our table of contents of our packet one of the things I listed that was inside was a scan of my husbands drivers license when it's actually his state id. I wrote drivers license by accident because I also listed a scan of my Drivers license being in there as well. So the word drivers license was just a habitual word to write.

Do you guys think this will cause trouble for our case?

no I don't think it will cause any issues. you simply misnamed something where they can see what it actually is.

if it would put you at ease when you get the noa1 it will give you instructions on how to send in additional information and you can just write up a letter explaining the mistake and give then a corrected version.

good luck

I made clerical errors in my i765 and i485 applications.  In my case for the 765 I put the wrong eligibility code and for the 485 I put the document control number rather than the visa number.

I realized my mistakes about 5 weeks after filing and after my biometrics.

Understandably I got super worried and called.  I was advised to write a letter and explain the mistake and what the correction should be.

I went to infopass as well and was told minor errors aren't a big deal, but my mistake with the eligibility category could affect it, so he advised to submit an online request for typographical errors, which I did.

The good news, I got a response on Tuesday saying the corrections had been made and then today my 765 was approved and card in production.

For you, misnaming a document isn't relevant to the basis of filing or your evidence, but if it gives you peace of mind, send a letter or submit an online request.  If you go the letter route, add the NOA so they can find your file :)
