Am quite puzzled, because we sent our documents nov 10, 2016,

we tracked it and it says it was delivered nov 14 at Portsmouth (pic attached)

when i cAlled NVC it states from their file, that our documents were received January 2017.

I told her that the document was sent last nov. she just answered "again, we just received your documents January 13, 2017, please allow 8 weeks for us to review them"

Is it possible? To arrive after exactly 2 weeks?

We submitted our documents December 8 and they were received December 13. When I contacted NVC they said they didn't receive them until January 19 officially which became our scan date, because for whatever reason our compeleted DS 260 didn't submit until that day even though we had submitted it weeks prior. We are currently 5 weeks in on our official wait, though we actually submitted documents 10 weeks ago.

Contrary to VJ knowledge, your official scan date is when they have received your packet and your DS 260 is successfully completed. We sent our documents off under the belief that the clock started as soon as the documents were received and based on VJ responses, even if the IV bill hadn't been paid, it would still run because back then people sometimes waited weeks for the IV bill to be available.

Perhaps that what happened to your case as well?

Keep smiling and keep breathing... you wont get any more information and certainly no more clarity than this from Tier 1 - or probably even tier 2 at NVC over this type of issue.  Whether or not they are able to see where it went to, or sat from delivery date to entry into their system is irrelevant to them at this point and there is nothing you can do unfortunately. I am sitting with Green Card production problems since Sept 30th... and even the IO (Tier 2 supervisors) cannot tell me what the issue is that the TSC is having producing my card - it has apparently been attempted 5 times with no success... and they have no information to give me on what is happening...

When I ask "should I have another biometrics done" ... " no, wait another 90 days "   I am getting weary of the "we apologise for the inconvenience..... "

Hopefully your NVC process will go forward well... good luck.

Thnk you for your reply, wishing you the same, will try to breathe and smile along this journey.
