Should we just call them now even though it says march 1. It has been more then 3 weeks and that seems long for the mail.

We had people stealing our mail from our home mailbox.  So we got a P.O. Box at out local post office.  Guess what?  No more stolen mail.  It's kind of expensive but well worth it when you are dealing with such important documentation. (Of course you would have to register the address change with them)  Good luck.

Poeple steal mail?? I would not have thought of that, but i quess it makes sence with all the preaproved creditcards and stuff.

Were on a milletary base though and you cant just get in.

BTW that is 30 business days (excluding weekends and/or holidays) - Good o'le Uncle Sam does NOT work the weekends!  People always seem to forget that LOL  If you do not get it within 30 "business" days from the date they received your application, you can call 800-375-5283 OR www.uscis.gov/addresschange

Thanks all for the tips! We signed up for electronic notification, and we received the email fine... I guess once the period is over we will have to call and find out. I just do not want this to happen with more important notification

today we got an update on our online case tracker and it gave us this message.

Document Was Returned To USCIS

On February 24, 2017, the Post Office returned your document to us. We will hold your document for 180 days or until August 23, 2017. Please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request that we resend the document to you. If you do not submit an online request by August 23, 2017, we will destroy your document and you will need to file a new Form I-129F, Petition for Fiance(E), with fee. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.


So in our case it seems something dit really go wrong with mailing. unshue what it is that went wrong though.

No, we looked at the copy of the paperwork that we sent them. and its correct there.

I would request they resend it.  If you can get in contact, do so, and ask what the post office said for reason of no delivery.

Yes that is the funny thing. we dit wht they say in the messages that we have to request for a resent. And then we get the messsage to wait 30 days before making a request for a resent. becasuese it can still be delivered.
But the sent us the message we need to make the request becaus it has not arrived and has been sent back.

Request the resend. Call them and see what's up.

cant request the resent yet it wont let me sent the online form for it. But we are going to call them on monday. i hope this gives the other people that were waiting for there notice some usefull information
