We've sent of the visa petition. Now we are just impatiently waiting Danny is in the UK I'm here I'm Tampa. Does anyone know the time line if he's from the UK? 

He's very worried its going to take too long? 

We are using rapid visa too.

IR-1/CR-1 Visas take an average of 10-12 months if there are no major hiccups. Sometimes it takes longer than that, sometimes it doesn't take as long. Expect to be done in about a year from now and be happy if you get your visa before then.

If you fill in your timeline it will give you an estimate, but expect to wait - you can start checking that you have everything else ready for the next part, like checking your vaccinations are up to date, when I requested mine it turned out that I had no record so i have had to have those done, if you need any your doctor/nurse will do most if not all of them for free.
