Translation clarification - I-129f

I am preparing my I-129f and have some questions regarding translations. At first I thought that all non-English documents were required to be translated, including supporting evidence. I read in one of the stickied posts, however, that only legal documents (such as my fiances divorce certificate) need to be translated. I have a mix of documents from my trip to Ukraine in various languages (English, Russian, Ukrainian). My plane tickets and itinerary are in English. I have train tickets from our trip from her home town to Odessa in Ukrainian and various receipts from restaurants and a hotel. I am worried most about the train tickets. They are an excellent piece of evidence as they show us traveling to and from a location together in seats next to each other with our names. They are also in a very difficult format to copy for translation purposes. I understand that all translations must follow the format of the original document. Any suggestions on what to do?

I (the beneficiary from Ukraine) booked our train tickets online, like most people do here, so I have them in pdf files. I created a template in Word with a similar layout. That was time consuming but I only had to do it once. Then I just copied and translated every line from the pdf ticket into my table. There's not too much to translate as there are mostly numbers. We have only 2 tickets that we had to buy at the ticket office, they are less convenient to convert into a Word file, so my fiancee just wrote our names and the locations in English next to the Ukrainian equivalents and highlited the dates. 

We are going to send our I-129 next week, so I can't be sure that we've done everything correctly but I can share my template if you wish.

As a general rule, it needs to be in a language that someone at the consulate would understand. For my case, it was English, French or Spanish. All legal documents need to be in English. Thats a must. Train tickets and receipts and whatnot, thats a bit different, if you can back it up, you should be fine.

Thanks for the input everyone. I've created an (incomplete) template for the train tickets that my fiancee will complete since my language skills are not what hers are. The tickets from the station are in a bit different format than the .pdf ones, so I wanted to make the translation look as true to the original document as possible. I will also highlight key information, such as names, dates, seat numbers, train numbers etc. to show that we match up. It might be overkill, but I feel it is better to be safe than sorry. If anyone in the future ever needs the template, I can share what I have. Just drop me a PM.

In this situation, overkill is a good thing! It doesnt hurt to be over prepared.

I just made copies of my train ticket and receipts... It was just to prove that I was there and just highlighted the date and place... Got approved 2 days ago.
