Hi! My hubby and I are planning on a 3-week vacation in the Philippines this April. I just received my AP/EAD combo card last Feb21, I do not have my green card yet. I know many have re-entered the US using the AP without a problem in the past. Since Trump became president, I (and many others) am discouraged and afraid to leave the US using an AP. Is there anyone here with a recent (2017)  travel to the PH using an AP and was able to re-enter without hassle?

Philippines was NEVER on the "Trump" radar.  You should have no issues using your AP (combo) card.

(Stay away from Chicken Little and the boy that cried wolf ;) , too many false stories )

I only know of a few that have traveled with their AP card one had a small issue with CBP upon return to the USA as the agent had never seen one...  but it was a simple moment in time.

Visa chase and citizenship.. DONE!
