I thought it was only at age 70 and over that people became resistant to change!

Never thought you'd be takin the pizz outta me for having a different opinion, mags. :(

It wasn't directed at you Lisa! ;)

It could be said about me tho since I'm apparantly 'resistent to change' ;)

If you wanna interpret it about you, there isn't much I can do is there? :P I think my comment was more of a jokey comment, it wasn't intended against anyone in particular. I just had this comical vision in my head of all of these elderly people say "NO!" to the idea of dentures.

My brain is a bit loopy most of the time, I can't really explain how it works, suffice to say...I surprise myself sometimes!

Seriously though, when it comes to the matter of opinions I think everyone is entitled to them. I'd never tell anyone to be quiet or tell them that their POV isn't valid. You KNOW me, I have my own strong POVs sometimes and am not afraid to voice them. The same goes for many people here on this site and that's partly what makes VJ, IMO.

What is... *shrugs* ..mean?

From Wiki:

A shrug is a form of non verbal communication that is performed by lifting both shoulders up, and is an indication of an individual either not knowing an answer to a question, or not caring about a result. It may be accentuated with raised eyebrows and/or an exaggerated frown. Shrugging is derived from the act of comparing the weight of two objects in one's hands. Since a shrug indicates that the subject does not know the answer to a question, it would imply that they were weighing the matter between their hands.[citation needed] A shrug merely involving the shoulders is a lazy form of the full shrug, which involves both shoulders and hands with palms facing upward.
