Filing for AOS/EAD/AP - I know that all cases vary, but I've read on USCIS guidelines that they aim to let people know about RFEs as soon as possible, and I've also noticed that many people's timelines with RFE are fairly soon after NOA or biometrics.

So does anyone know if there's a point in the timeline after which I could say ok it's unlikely I'll get an RFE now? Or is it more random than that. I filed 12-16-2016, NOA 12-22-2016, Biometrics 01-11-2017

Many thanks as always

You can get an RFE anytime between filing and card production.

Someone in our November filers forum received an RFE on  day 87

I have seen a August filer just got one so you are just never "safe" from RFE until you are approved and card is made.
