No Notice Date or Received Date on NOA1 for AOS, EMPLOYMENT AUTH and ADVANCE PAROLE

Hello everyone!

 

I am currently really stressed out because I received my NOA1 for AOS, employment authorization and Advance Parole however none of the NOA1s have a Notice Date or Received Date. Theres no date anywhere on the forms. 

I called USCIS. The lady was very unhelpful and rude. She asked me for the receipt numbers which I gave her. I was then told that the numbers were incorrect and she could not trace anything. This got me into panic mode even more! she then told me  that it takes  30-45 days for it to show up on their system and that she cannot do anything about it. What do you guys think? It just seemed odd 

I then explained that my NOA1s do not have a notice date or received date. She said 'it is definitely on there. You need to look closely'. I read all the info on the top part of the form to her. she was still in disbelief. She then made it out to be not important. I am panicking because I know how important these forms are until I am approved which I know is going to be a long wait. Also these forms will be needed if I need to prove my lawful status and if theres no date on it then it holds no value.

 

The lady said she couldn't do anything about it and was not willing to help as I asked if they could send me new ones as it is a error on their part

 

any advice guys as to how I can go about resolving the issue?

 

I am really stressed out about it

Looking at the NOA1/Form I-797C

First set of boxes (after the heading) states "Notice Type" on the right and to the far left the box says "Notice Date".  There is nothing in that box?

2 boxes below - on the left is "Receipt Number"  should start with MSC and then have 9 numbers.  Next to that box is a box that says "Received Date".  All these date boxes are empty?

I would schedule an infopass right away. That way you can show them the actual paper. If infopass is not an option ask for Tier 2 when you call. Someone obviously made a mistake.

Hello, I also received my 3x AOS NOA1s yesterday and also have no 'notice date' and 'received date' printed on mine either. This is most annoying. I have several internal USA flights coming up, so I do hope it won't present a problem then.

Sounds like they might have had a computer system issue if this is more than one case.

Also I have tried checking my three receipt numbers for case status online (the email had said to wait for the NOA1s to arrive first) but still not showing anything, do your receipt numbers work online yet?

 

Reassuring to be in the same boat at least!

Well the information she gave you that it could take 30-45 days for your receipt number to show up in their system is bs. It can take that long for you to get your NOA1, but not for the receipt number to show up in their system.

The reciept numbers are not showing online and the uscis lady told me that the number i gave her were incorrect. she then went on to say i need to wait atlas 30-45 days for it to show up on their system which i know is not true!

thats exact;y what i thought. even if it does not work online. A USCIS officer should be able to retrieve the info

FYI I just tried to call USCIS and they said that due to high call volumes they currently had a 'stop notice' and were unable to transfer me to a Tier 2 agent at this time, so to try back in a few hours or tomorrow. Ugh.
