n-400 most recent tax return question

I'm filing for N-400 based on marriage to a US Citizen, I will be including a tax transcripts, but we havent filed our taxes for 2016 yet, so I can only include the ones from 2014 and 2015. I can include the one previous to that.

Is this going to be a problem? Has anyone just brought their most recent tax transcript to the interview and didnt include it with their application

I am not sure on that but with the help of online filing transcripts become available very quickly. If you are not too far from finalizing your taxes, try to get those for your application. Last year my 2015 transcripts become available only 5 days after I filed my taxes. At the same time, you could always send other supporting documents on your financial co-mingling like bank statements, mortgage documents, loans, insurances, etc. Then bring the 2016 transcripts to the interview.
