Oh I see :) but being with our loved ones helps a lot , it's just I wish I didn't have to think about it anymore and we can go on and move forward ;)

but at this point I'm sure we will be waiting for 8 weeks as well more or less at this point ;)

im more an e-mail person , the closest office is at 2 hours drive from where I'm :o  so it is faster to explain it all in email.

i don't know Texas much , but i would think that Houston is quite far from Dallas :( ?

Hey Suss&Camm

I had a few questions about how to contact DHS. it's been a while since I visited the social security office and here again my name was once again not matching and they were stuck there and despite submitting another app I'm still stuck with nothing and the SAVE database online shows up "Case returned to agency"

Do you know where to find a sample about what you wrote to them exactly ? ( sorry I don't want to sound so technical with them and I don't know where to begin ? )

did you scanned all the documents in the email ?

And finally is it where I can contact them ?

thank you in advance I'm a bit lost about what else to do now

The thing is, I think you just need to wait.. the "returned to agency comes fairly quickly, but the actual paperwork takes a long time!! up to 10 weeks!! but only the first time... at the dmv and my 2nd time to the SSO if was 1-2 weeks..more normal...

anyhow..

This is what I wrote in my email:

Hi!

I'm writing to inquire about the way my name is entered on my i-94 form. The SSA had to send off my information for manual verification 6 weeks ago because my first name was too long (this is what they thought)/ they were unable to verify against SAVE.

My question is in regards to ow my name is EXACTLY entered on my i-94? I'm trying to figure where the problem is and how I can avoid this being an issue in the future.

My info:

First name: first name

Middle name: none

Last name: last name

A# : XXXXXXXXX

DOB:XX/XX/XXXX

Passport# : XXXXXXXX(Issued in country)

My POE was Dallas-Fort Worth on Oct XXth of this year.

Is this information all available from your side? Is this what was forwarded to USCIS?

Thankful for any help!

sincerely, Susanna

I emailed the Houston deferred inspection site (you can also go in person) from this list https://www.cbp.gov/sites/default/files/assets/documents/2017-Jan/deferred_inspection_sites_011117.pdf

Idk your port of entry, but if there is no email-address I suggest going in person, or calling first

I sent them the info and then got this response:

Thank you so very much for all these information :)

i was writhing to them but perhaps you are right , I should wait a little bit longer then. It is kinda stressful because the first time I applied my status on save was updated within a week twice and then I received the letter saying "we cannot issue you a social security card because my I-94 is about to expire before we can isssue one " well I went the second time and since that day no update on save nor letter in the mail box I'm so confused about it.
