As you can see my attached, my EAD and AP (N&D) got approved really late, out of regular time frame. So it happens all the time someone who submitted the file after you got approved faster than you.

My my husband kept telling me " relax" but I was like "nooooo!"

as you said it is impossible not to worry about the process.  I worried about everything.

This can not be used as ALL EAD/AP's are approved at the NBC so that has nothing to do with where people are located. Only the AOS will be send to local office if people get a interview.

yes if nothing is from the uscis after 30 days, then ring them.

I just wanted to show that it really depends on the officer, specially for EAD/AP those are processed in Chicago.  uscis says they "usually" handle cases in the order they receive the files. hmmmmm......really?

And yes AOS depends on the local office where the applicants locate.

I hope you hear from uscis soon!:)

Not Chicago it's the NBC that is located in MO (Lee's Summit) Chicago is just the lockbox just as texas was for the I-129F.

And Yes AOS is either local offices which have very different wait times OR NBC (where you got yours approved) ... And that one is all about luck of the persons desk you end on. (you were lucky ;) )

Ours got delivered on Oct 17 but we did not get any NOA1's until November 5th. Check was cashed a week before, so it can take a while. I called USPS and she said they deliver whole bulks of envelopes per day so it can be a little messy (for example, mine had tracking but missed the final scan so it arrived but never updated on the tracking website). It's mostly within three weeks that you year something.

It has only been 10 days, you need to give them at least 30 before you start worrying. Every case is different, you can't compare with others. I learned that with the i-129f that took 6 months while everyone else in the thread were approved in 1-3 months.

Not even 10. There was a weekend in there, and a stat holiday as well.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

It took them 16 days to send me text notifications. Got the mail ones a few days later on the 31th of December ( text ones = 28th ).

While I understand the anxiety , we have to realize it is a somewhat slow process. Yes, some people get theirs faster. It still could take them forever to get a biometrics date while yours may come faster. All I'm trying to say is it doesn't 100% means their cases are moving faster.

There is another forum where a former IO explains the entire process from receipt to the end. He said that they try to stick as close to the order as possible by the day they receive them. For example, one person sends their pkg regular mail takes 3 days or more depending on whether it falls on a weekend or holiday, then someone else sends theirs by next day mail. Even though the mailing dates are different, the date USCIS received them remains the same. I would not go by that because there is not even a consensus as to which date should be used to count from. Some ppl put their mail date, and some put their receipt date.

Pkg Sent:9/13/16

Received at Chicago Lock box: 9/16/16

Received Texts: 9/30/16

NOA1 Received: 10/4/16 : Receipt Date of 9/19/16

Bio Appt letter Received: 10/12/16
