get new insurance / boos credit score

Hello everyone, 

                          i have a few questions which i hope to find answers here .  i was wondering if any has an idea on how to boost your credit score? and which banks in the usa are very good banks for reliability and loans and also with low interest rates(i got here 6 months ago on a k1 visa and i just got my ead card and ssn). also i was wondering which is the best way to get insurance and what kind of insurance is good and cheap for someone who just came  in the state of Massachusetts ?

Get credit cards and only use about 30% of the limit. 

 

Pay at least the minimum balance each month, preferably the full amount. 

 

I use Bank of America and I'm very happy with them. They approved me for an auto loan and a $1,000 limit credit card after I'd only been in the US for about a month, compared to Chase who still won't approve me for a $500 Amazon credit card, even though I've been in the US for 10 months and have a credit score of 752. ? I know many other new immigrants who are also very happy with Bank of America, they don't stare blind on how long you've had your accounts opened. 

 

When it comes to insurance, you can't get it both good AND cheap.  In fact, this year, even the crappy insurance is expensive. At least that's the way it is in Texas...
