Qatar Police Clearance

I'm posting this here because my wife is obviously in the Philippines.  We are having a bit of trouble.

We have our request package ready to go Doha, Qatar, for the Police Clearance.

We have all of the required enclosures together with the request letter, as mentioned in the reciprocity agreement as well as the Qatari Ministry of Interior web site.

One of the requirements is a US$10 bill.  It should be sent in cash, according to the reciprocity agreement, as well as the Qatari web site.

My wife went into Davao city today to DHL to express this package to Qatar.

She was told immediately, under no circumstances can she send cash thru their service.  So, I promptly googled DHL, as well as FEDEX, policies.  Neither service will allow the shipment of any cash.

Wife then went to BPI and BDO....no luck.  PhilPost in Davao City no longer does international money orders.

We are at a lost and extremely frustrated.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks in advance for all of your help,

Toby & Quennie

Only thing I can suggest is putting the cash in a smaller envelope attached to the form, inside the bigger envelope... and mum is the word.

That is weird for sure.

Do they have a consulate in Manila?

Visa chase and citizenship.. DONE!

I Agree With Sagot. Put it in the envelope and don't say anything.

That was an interesting experience.

On February 22, 2017, we finally sent our package to Qatar Ministry of Interior via LBC.  We simply hid the US$50 inside the envelope and made sure everything was sealed up that was included in our package.  This way the customer service agent at LBC could not unseal and look inside.  Then, my wife just dropped her sealed envelope (including all of the required documents along with the US$50) inside of the LBC envelope....and that's it.

I tracked the package all the way to Qatar.  Once I saw that the package had been received by Qatar, I began e-mailing them.  They responded on several ocassions.  First, they confirmed that they had received the package.  Then, I replied and asked to confirm that the Filipino Customs agents did not remove the US$50.  I received a response the folowing day asking for wife's Qatar ID#.  I quickly responded by providing the Qatar ID#, and again asked if they would please confirm receipt of the US$50.  The following day I received an e-mail stating that they would respond to my request once it was our turn in the Que.  I finally gave up attempting to contact them regarding the US$50.

Again, we sent our request via LBC on February 22, 2017.  We received the completed PCC today on March 16, 2017.

Now we are struggling with the Hong Kong CNCC.  Should have our request accepted by Hong Kong within the next couple weeks.

Thanks for everyone's help,

The phone numbers and e-mail addresses listed earlier in this thread are good!!!

Have a great day,

Toby
