Yeah, I didn't think the "guy at the desk" could make decisions this is why I am tyring not to get too excited...LOL but Yassine did tell me he was American...who knows???

I think everything is looking very good for a quick call. By the way Yassine is an Arabic name but if his last name is Moroccan, I doubt there will lbe many hits if any.

My fiance just had his interview the 5th of april and got a letter of 221g saying that your case requires administrative processing, we will call you as soon as we can to continue with your case......Does this mean that they are doing security checks on my fiance at this time....when he left they told him they would call him this week to come back into casa.......does that mean he will get visa this week ?? or are they just going to ask him to bring his passport in and still wait another week???? does any one know how this works........thank you ella

Congratulations on what sounds like a successful interview! Administrative processing usually consists of security checks. They will let him know when to return and what to bring.

Everything sounds good. Typically Casa only calls when they are ready to put the visa in the passport. Sometimes they do sayit wil be a week, but security checks can takes months. You can call the DOS and check the progress of the security checks. They will not tell you anythng in detail, but they will tell you if they are pending or have been completed.

Try not to worry too much. It is an approval pending clearance of security checks. You wil have the visa in due time. Congratulations.
