K1 visa I134 affidavit of support

Good day guys just read a comment about the affidavit of support,if my fiance changes jobs and makes 375% above the poverty line will it affect our petition as to getting approved at the interview?? Some people are saying you need 3 times the amount if you don't meet the lines in assets or savings.

You only need to use assets if the USC doesn't qualify with the income. It sounds like he does. As long as you have sufficient proof of this there shouldn't be a problem.

Yes and recent paystubs will help further  Good luck Don't forget w2  and other schedules with the 1040.

I have my interview soon and gathering similar documents. My fiancé has recently (January) started a new job and doesn't have much, if anything in the bank. She has started making decent money now though. I have a letter of employment from her company stating how much she now makes and I also have her first few pay stubs and w2. Along with the affidavit of support form, do you think that will be enough?

You need the tax return that goes with the w2 as well. Other than that it is all you have and I've seen many Brits on here saying that they are pretty lax on the affidavit at the K1 stage. Still need that return thought, since that's required

Thanks! I also have her tax return along with the w2. I am also going to take documents showing my secure financial situation. Should I still do this? As it seems to me that the focus is move on the petitioner's financial situation.

I can't remember exactly the i-134 questions, but I think there is also option to add the beneficiary's assets... so you can take it along since you've gathered it already. Yes, it's mainly about the petitioner, they are still the sponsor, but you can strengthen the case. This is also true at the AOS stage. If the immigrant has a lot of assets it can be added towards the requirement. It won't hurt you to bring it

She has no assets which is why I want to try and strengthen our case with my financial documents. Her parents are going to sign a letter stating that they are letting us stay rent-free at their house until we find our own place. Good idea?
