  So for today it's judges good, media bad? It's hard to keep track of where you're at with all this sometimes. It appears you seek out that which you wish to believe and formulate your reality around it. Well as long as that works for you.

   I don't think it said anywhere that CNN reported fake news, so yes it was factually incorrect. All the judge ruled on was that that the libel suit can move forward and that CNN may have acted with actual malice by comparing open heart surgeries at St. Mary's to facilities that do both open and closed procedures. Open heart, as you may have guessed have a higher risk of mortality.

 

  The facts in this case will also revolve around whether St. Mary's should have been doing these case or not, since that was the gist of the story.  We will have to stay tuned for the actual ruling in the case.

I know this is a difficult concept for you to grasp but when a judge rules based on the law and facts presented to them that is a good thing. When a judge rules based on political views and legislate from the bench that is not a good thing. Simple concept for most but some people have a hard time with it.

  I'm not the one who has trouble with facts. Would you like me to link to the posts where people have refuted your claims and are waiting for you to respond, or have you chosen to avoid those on purpose? I realize there is only so much you can do when twitter is your main source of information so it's your call.

I'm sorry. Some of us have a life outside of the vj political forums. I don't have time to monitor this site 24 hours a day. I have been very busy this week with my wife and step son arriving in the US and my family visiting. On top of that I am working a 12 hour shift right now (something that scares the liberals). Nice strawman to try to disguise the fact you don't have a leg to stand on here though.

I checked the source in the OP . It wasn't twitter  but by all means making claims about not answering a post and  claiming he gets news from Twitter, was a nice attempt to deflect. Weak but nice.

  You titled this 'federal judge rules CNN reports fake news' and you wan't to talk about not having a leg to stand on. You posted rubbish. That's not what the judge ruled. 

 

  I work 12 hour shifts too. You should cut out the stereotyping and focus on reality for a change.

I have never even been on twitter. I think social media websites are a waste of time. The only reason I have a Facebook account is to talk to my wife's family and I barely even check it.

 

Back to the topic of this post which you keep diverting from. The judge essentially ruled that there is ample evidence that CNN reported fake news to move forward with the case despite CNNs objections. I would say the title of this thread is accurate.

Lol. Yup I did about 6 12 hours this week. We'll only 8 hours one day

No overtime last week as I was spending my time with my wife and step son. Back to it next week though.

 

Wonder where Dakine10 went. Maybe it's past his bed time. Or maybe he is still upset that I didn't reply to him in a thread I posted last week.
