Ceac visa status no update!

Hello guys please help me I'm confused and stressed!

 

My fiancé has been in ap since October 2016  in Baghdad consulate . At time of interview he recieved a 221g white slip indicating he has missing US contact info but the administrative processing box was not marked. They took his passport.  the last time our case was updated was on December. We have sent what they needed but didn't receive a confirm from them. It was updated couple of times after we sent the info. So I guess they did receive it. On December they requested his previous passport info so we took care of that. Unfortunately , 

 

Last time they contacted was last week because they said they didn't receive the required documents so I resend them and I got a confirm from them,  However on ceac it still says last time updated was December . Does it mean they are not working on it? Or it is stuck somewhere .  Has anyone been in this experience ? Please let me know. I'm getting nervous 

 

It has been 5th months we are waiting on Ap. What do we do when my fiancé's medical expire ? 

 

Any help or suggesting will be appreciated

I don't know the answer however why don't just do the I130 if u have a citizen. Maybe this fast but it's less annoying and hardly denying it.
