Forget American Idol! If everyone watched Lou Dobbs on CNN daily and became aware of what's being done and not being done by their government and big business, the world would be a better place. We need more like him! He kicks government and corporate azz!

Kudos also to Petter Boyles in Denver and Terry Anderson in LA.

Whom else is on our side in the media? Please let me know. I have lots more love to give to the truth tellers.

Not me unfortunately - I find it hard to distinguish him from O'Reilly, both seem to twist the words of their guests to pitch the books they happen to be selling. Dobbs has a little less of the mock outrage, but he did a show in front of a live audience not so long ago (again related to his book) and he came across as being incredibly pompous.

To follow up on erekose's comparison to O'Reilly, Dobbs is not as 'in your face', but you don't have to listen to him for too long to start hearing the absurdities in some of what he says.

While I watch both of those commentators from time to time, I can’t really say I ‘like’ them. It’s more from a media studies point of view – how they work and approach different issues. Certainly I’ve noticed that the guests they put on the shows (who are almost always at one end or other of the political spectrum – as though that represents the entirety of the argument) are usually (in fact almost always) shouted down by the host to assert their editorial positions (usually connect with whatever book they have out).

I like Lou too. Anyone that is persona non grata in the White House can't be all bad. You'll never see the likes of Teddy Kennedy interviewed on the show either (Teddy ain't got balls enough to defend his lunacy heads up).

Whether people like him or not...Lou says stuff that needs to be said. I'm glad he is on the tube.
