K1 and cancer

Hello everybody!  In August last year I was diagnosed with breast cancer -  still at an early stage,  had chemotherapy and surgery and I'm doing well. I was wondering,  do you think that my recent diagnosis would cause any problems for my K1?

Absolutely not .... it is so common (very very sorry to say) ... only issue may be the insurance and healthcare with the proposed changes

Thank you.  He is in the military so that won't be a problem - at least until he gets out!

No it won't. You'll likely need to bring the relevant medical information regarding your diagnosis and a letter from your doctor to your medical - but it won't be anything that should cause a problem. Just be aware that having heath insurance coverage will be extremely important for you, once you reach the states. So plan ahead on that factor.
