W-2 as additional proof why I didn't file?

I'm trying to prep in advance for the NVC stage (which seems like the most complicated stage) and I seem to have run into a wall. I have never previously worked at a job where I have made the amount recommended for filing tax returns so I don't have the tax returns needed for the affidavit of support. I am planning on getting a verification of non-filing and drafting a letter explaining the reason why I don't have a transcript of tax returns. Can I also add in my W-2's from jobs from previous years showing that I never made beyond the limit as proof or should I leave them out? What else can I add as proof that will help?

Just a suggestion. The Social Security Administration keeps a running tab on all the jobs you've worked in your life that had Social Security taxes taken out of your salary. It's an earnings statement. This list is available for the asking. It shows how much you earned each year.

As for using W-2's for proof, and I'm not saying you would do this, but a person could work 3 jobs in a year but only supply one W-2, so it would not show the total income for the year.

Thanks! I didn't know that existed. That's really helpful. Should I get a certified copy or do you think the normal online printed one should be enough?

Not sure, sorry. I've gotten these many times but don't know if they can send a certified one.
