We have just got done booking my fiance appointment for Manilia.

My question is this, When we booked it for March 3, there was no information filed to enter her DS-160 confirmation number.

I keep on seeing that the Ds-160 number is needed to be inputted prior to booking the appointment.

I just want to make sure that when we show up, they tell us to go home because of this.

Also is March 3rd enough time for the hospital visit as well?

Hoping to get this done that week as March 3rd is a Friday. And what happens if she hasnt recieved her packet from the Embassey pretaining this?

I'm just on edge as this is towards the end, and want everything to flow smoothly. Or if I should  rescheduled for a later date?

Thanks again for all your input since the beginning

She won't receive any packet from the embassy. Doesn't work that way in the Philippines. She just has to take all the required documents, I-134 and financial stuff with her to the interview.

And depending on when she can schedule the medical, it is possible. Generally 1-2 weeks between medical and interview is prefered.

Has she gotten her NBI clearance, CENOMAR (or whichever document she needs for this), birth certificate, passport with atleast 6 months left on it?

She also needs to complete CFO either before the interview or afterwards when she has the visa. If before interview, she needs to simply go back and they will give final stamp/certificate showing she completed it.

ohh I see, I was under the impression the medical would be 1-2 days prior to the interview. And that she would recieve the appointment date for that.

I guess I'm backed to the drawing broad, I will look at the site to scheulde the medical and what is a CFO? This is a first I have heard of it.

Everything is good to go.

I would much like to take care of everything in a week as she lives 1.5hrs away via plane. Hate to keep going back and forth.

But If I have too, I have no choice.

CFO is a required course all Filipino/Filipina's must take before leaving the Philippines. http://www.cfo.gov.ph/

Also, she could technically do her medical, this usually itself takes 2 days to complete. Then her interview a few days later; but they may hold her visa up until they receive the medical results from St.Lukes.

I keep on seeing that the Ds-160 number is needed to be inputted prior to booking the appointment. How did you booked her interview? (Online?via phone?) As I remembered correctly I was asked to enter the DS160# prior to booking the appointment?

Nothing. Not receiving her packet is not an issue. PH Mail System isnt reliable. It takes months for us to receive mails. Some people dont receive their packet on time. I didnt got mine too. They will most likely look for NVC Letter though.

I'm just on edge as this is towards the end, and want everything to flow smoothly. Or if I should  rescheduled for a later date?I think you should be fine.

Thanks again for all your input since the beginning

ohh I see, I was under the impression the medical would be 1-2 days prior to the interview. It takes 1-2days to do the medical exam and vaccinations. Wednesday to Friday are the least busy days so better have it done before March 3. Just to keep it safe. You dont want to delay the process.

And that she would recieve the appointment date for that.  No she wont. It's a walk-in process. No appointment system is in place. You only got to queue yourself up to be accommodated.

I guess I'm backed to the drawing broad, I will look at the site to scheulde the medical and what is a CFO? This is a first I have heard of it.

Everything is good to go. Ben&Zian posted a link about about CFO. This is a prerequisite before leaving Philippines but NOT a visa interview prerequisite/requirement.

I would much like to take care of everything in a week as she lives 1.5hrs away via plane. Hate to keep going back and forth.

But If I have too, I have no choice. Same with me as well. It was hassle to go back and forth. I did book a ticket for a week to manila. Below is my timeline:

08/16/2016 - Flight from Cebu to Manila. Delayed flight and took off around 11pm.

08/17/2016 - Landed technically 8/17 as it is 1am. So i decided to rest for the day

08/18/2016 (Thurs) - Day1 Medical Exam

08/19/2016 (Fri) - Day2 Vaccinations

08/24/2016 (Wed) - Interview Scheduled at 6:45am. Fly back to Cebu in the afternoon 4pm.

Hope that helps in estimating your timeline!

Thank You for everything and the responses have been great.

We have filled out the pre-questions for the medical and will be arriving 1 week prior to the 3rd for the interview.

As for the DS-160 conifrmation number, We were never asked for it. She booked via online after visa payment was posted. We have a copy of the DS-160 with the number but again never asked to input it.

Should we call the Embassy to confirm, we did recive a email stated confirmation of the appointment. As long as she will bring it with her as well as all documents to the interview.

Thank You all!!!!!!!!!
