I received my oath ceremony notice today. It is on 3/23 in San Antonio.

Thanks for posting that. Did you receive the notice online or the actual letter by mail?

Hello everyone,

I received my citizenship in the ceremony that took a place in San Antonio in 2/23/2017 at 2pm. I didn't take my phone with me and I missed taking pictures. Does anyone have few pictures that can share with me. It is a such good memory and I feel bad not taking photos for a such event.

Thanks in advance

I am going to participate in ceremony on March 23.

Do they allow to take your cellphone inside?

Can you guide us, what to do and where to go?

OR

Can you share your experience with us?

Thanks

Yes they allow, just put it in Silent mode.

First, look at your invitation and check the address, many people assumed it is USCIS location. It can be anywhere else.

Arrive there on time, make sure have a snacks and water especially if you have kids and games for the kids in your phone. You will be surprise how many people will be there, over 500 in my case. The ceremony started almost 2 hours after the time we had in the invitation. In those 2 hours, you will be seated in a specific spot, I guess they arrange people alphabetically. I was in section A. Then they will give a form that has few questions to answer Yes or No and you  return it with your Green Card. that will be the last time you will  see your GC. If you answer a Yes to any question they may have a little chitchat with you. After they process everybody they start the ceremony with calling countries alphabetically, you stand up when you hear your country, you seat later and stand up again couple of times to swear under oath in front of the judge, All people at once. they play  video about the US history, then anthem. in about an hour and half they distribute the Naturalization certificate and you should be good to go. Good luck!

There is only one ceremony. I've never hear of name change ceremony that. I hear them talking about the those who want to change their names but honestly I didn't pay attention to what exactly they said.

They uploaded my oath letter today. My ceremony will take place on 3/30 at 9am. I am a little bummed because I had hoped to be in the ceremony on 3/23 but one more week of waiting won't kill me. ??

Congrats , when was your interview ? Did you receive it in mail after the online status said that the letter is sent ? I had my interview on 2/1 but still the online status is "placed in line for Oath ceremony". Thanks for response.
