NOA1 and NOA2 for K1

Hypothetically, but also 100% reality.... what if I do not receive either of these in the mail (postal)? The most stone age things about Mexico is their postal system. In the 7 years I have lived here, I have never received any mail that was sent to me from friends/family unless sent by courier. Me and the beneficiary both live here and are incredibly concerned as people say each of these have details on them that are needed. Any advice or work arounds would be appreciated. I got the email that my case has been accepted and routed to the USCIS California Service center, but unlike others I have seen, it does not provide a number to call after a specific date if the letter is not received in the mail.

Thanks in advance!!!

If you've had your email, you should have your tracking number which you can use to go online and track the status of your case here: https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

You can also set up an account if you want with USCIS via that link.

I felt there was more information in the NOA1 email than the actual hard copy itself, but for the NOA2 you will need the hard copy of that! At least if you're tracking online then you'll be able to see when the case has been approved and if you've not received your NOA2 then you can contact them directly.

Hope this helps, good luck with your journey!

Thank you Yaztalksalot. I will stay on top of this. And cross my fingers that mail coming in from the US Government will make the one guy that works in the post office to actually put it in the "to deliver" pile and not the "who gives a " pile.
